For this week's screencast, I would like you to take full advantage of everything we have covered so far and make a mixed-media screencast. What do I mean by mixed media? Well, it means you are going to use your video editing skills. I want you to make a screencast combining multiple elements into one video.
For instance, your video may start with a webcam recording of you introducing the topic, before cutting to a slide deck with lesson objectives, and then moving on to a screen recording for a website that you want students to be working on.
It can have video, images, music, or any other elements you want to include. This means you are going to have to make multiple recordings and/or do some editing to stick it all together.
Success Criteria
- Create a 3-5 minute screencast related to your curricular area or specialism.
- Include multiple forms of media, e.g., images, screen recordings, webcam recordings, audio tracks, etc.
- Use a video editor to combine the different elements of your screencast into one video.
- Upload the video to Google Drive or YouTube and make sure the sharing permissions are correct so that I can view your video.
- Submit the link to your video by clicking the button on this page.
