Creating Playlists for Videos

An essential skill for using YouTube efficiently is the ability to create and share playlists. A playlist is a collection of videos on a topic. On your computer you use folders to organize your files. On YouTube, you use a playlist. Playlists are a great way to keep track of videos that you want to use again and again.

Some of the playlists I have on YouTube are collections of my own videos, some are collections of other people's videos, and some are a combination of both. That's the great thing about playlists. If you find a video you like, you can save it to a playlist regardless of whether you made the video or not. You can also share your collection of videos with just one link.
