Trama A Quiet Place II (2021)

A Quiet Place 2, il film diretto da John Krasinski, è il sequel di una delle maggiori sorprese cinematografiche del 2018, il thriller/horror A Quiet Palce - Un posto tranquillo, di cui il regista era protagonista nel ruolo di Lee Abbott, insieme alla moglie (anche nella vita reale) Emily Blunt, e ai giovani Millicent Simmonds e Noah Jupe.
Dopo gli eventi del primo film, gli Abbot, rimasti ormai solamente in quattro - Evelyn, Marcus, Regan e il fratellino neonato - devono ancora una volta lottare per la sopravvivenza in un mondo dove il rumore è bandito, pena essere individuati e massacrati da creature aliene. Questa volta usciranno fuori dai confini della loro casa per tentare di trovare qualche altro essere umano vivo, ma durante il loro cammino si renderanno conto che i temuti mostri non sono la sola minaccia da cui stare alla larga...
