Original Content vs. YouTube Content

There is a lot of great content on YouTube for educators. There is also a lot of less great content. For this discussion, I would like you to think about the pros and cons of using screencasts that have already been created by other teachers, as opposed to screencasts that you create yourself.

Will you use screencasts from other educators or YouTube creators? When would it be most appropriate for your students? Could you create a video quicker than the time it would take for you to trawl through YouTube to find the perfect video from someone else?
