- Submitting a discussion post
For this discussion, I would like to allow you to learn and get some inspiration from your peers. So, I will ask you to post the link to your screencast from this module so that other people can view it. They will give you feedback on your video, and you will give them feedback on their video, and together we will all benefit from the collective wisdom and inspiration of this group!
Feel free to ask questions, too. If you are not sure how they did something or you would like to know more about their creative process, ask away!!
Success Criteria
- Post a link to the video you made in this module.
- Include a description that gives your video some context. What was your purpose? What techniques were you trying out? Who was your audience?
- Watch videos from at least two other participants.
- Reply to the posts of the videos you watched using the I Like, I Wish, I Wonder protocol (see below).
The I Like, I Wish, I Wonder protocol was adapted from the Critical Friends protocol from the Buck Institute of Education. It was developed to help students give constructive feedback on project based-learning projects. Feel free to use this with students in your own class if you find it useful.
- The I-LIKE gives the individual or team a chance to highlight what is seen as a strength in a piece of work. This sets a positive tone for the interaction and focuses on the good.
- The I-WISH reveals an area that could be improved. One is all that is needed here.
- The I-WONDER is the place to ask clarifying questions and offer specific solutions to the stated I-Wish.
