- Submitting a discussion post
Okay. You know the drill by now. This is the feedback discussion prompt where you post a link to the instructional video you created for this module. Don't forget to leave feedback for others! :)
Success Criteria
- Post a link to the video you made in this module
- Include a description that gives your video some context. What was your purpose? What techniques were you trying out? Who was your audience?
- Watch videos from at least two other participants
- Reply to the posts of the videos you watched by following the I Like, I Wish, I Wonder protocol, (see below).
The I Like, I Wish, I Wonder protocol was adapted from the Critical Friends protocol from the Buck Institute of Education. It was developed to help students give constructive feedback on project based-learning projects. Feel free to use this with students in your own class if you find it useful.
- The I-LIKE gives the individual or team a chance to highlight what is seen as a strength in a piece of work. This sets a positive tone for the interaction and focuses on the good.
- The I-WISH reveals an area that could be improved. One is all that is needed here.
- The I-WONDER is the place to ask clarifying questions and offer specific solutions to the stated I-Wish.
