Trama La terra dei figli (2021)

La terra dei figli, film diretto da Claudio Cupellini, racconta di un mondo post-apocalittico, dominato dalla violenza, nel quale un padre tenta di crescere i suoi figli, preparandoli ad affrontare una dura vita.
È una storia di formazione, che racconta come un adolescente si ritrovi costretto a lottare per sopravvivere in un mondo ostile. Il ragazzo ha 14 anni e insieme a suo padre è tra pochi superstiti rimasti. I due vivono in una palafitta vicino a un lago e, ora che il concetto di società è stato completamente annientato, l'incontro con ogni persona può rivelarsi fatale. Per questo ogni giorno si rivela una lotta alla sopravvivenza.
Quando il padre muore, al figlio non resta altro che un quaderno, dove sono raccolti tutti i pensieri del genitore, ma il ragazzo non sa leggerlo ed è per questo che si mette in viaggio alla ricerca di qualcuno che non lo tratti in modo ostile e che possa decifrare quelle pagine. Solo leggendo i pensieri del padre, il giovane scoprirà non solo il lato più personale e sentimentale dell'uomo, ma anche il suo passato, rimasto finora ignoto.
